There are seven confirmed cases of COVID-19 on board the Artania cruise ship, which currently sits off the coast of Perth.
WA Health reportedly boarded the ship on Wednesday to conduct testing, after reports of illness.
The ship, with about 1200 on board, set sail on December 21 for a 140 day global voyage. It is understood the ship left Hamburg first, and is carrying mostly German passengers.
There could be as many as 25 others on board with symptoms of the virus.
The news comes as NSW Premier Gladys announced on Thursday that cruise ship passengers will not be able to disembark any ship in to NSW in a bid to stop the spread of coronavirus.
